Charlie was nominated by the Marine Technology Society (MTS) to be their representative on the Board of Directors of the Offshore Technology Conference. He joins eleven other members of the board from the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG); American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG); American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE); Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (Oceanic Engineering Society) (IEEE-OES); Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME); International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC); Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration, Inc. (SME); Society of Petroleum Engineers, Inc. (SPE); Petroleum Equipment Suppliers Association (PESA); The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS) and ASME International Petroleum Technology Institute (ASME). This appointed position is for a term of four years and can be renewed for an additional four years.
